Denim brands were in full force at
The Bread & Butter Trade Show in Berlin. We noticed lots of great labels exhibiting along with veterans like
GSTAR, Diesel, Calvin Klein Jeans and Levi’s to name a few. A couple of these great and relatively new brands that we would like to mention are
Lotus Jeans and J.C. Rags. Lotus Jeans has established over 658 points of sales in the European denim market during its very successful four seasons in business. Lotus jeans develops amazing new finishes and washes. J.C. Rags is another one of our favorites with their concept of Industrial Evolution they deliver really nice clothes inspired by a ‘worker’, their fabrics are treated to look worn and vintage, it is quite remarkable.
In terms of trends we noticed the
double-faced denim at several brands booths, this is an interesting idea that offers consumers two different colors of jeans in one garment.
We also noticed lots of cool color treatment in denim for both men and women and even thought the skinny jeans are still here to stay we also noticed cool
slouchy fitted styles for a more relaxed look, a strong trend seen among the youngsters in Berlin whose look is often casual from day to night.
